This is a famous quote made by one of the founding fathers of the United States, Benjamin Franklin. He along with many successful people claims that waking up early is the secret to their success. In this article, I will be explaining the benefits and why you should be waking up early.

According to scientific research, people who wake up early also tend to go to bed earlier too. This means they are more likely to get the required amount of sleep needed for their body to be good in shape whilst also having an enhanced mood. This consequently causes many early risers to be stress-free and therefore have a more positive outlook on life.

Getting out of bed early means one is very likely to have breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. Late risers usually grab something while they go to their work, which is an unhealthy habit. Or even worse they completely skip the meal.

We often fall asleep thinking about all the tasks we have to complete the next day and how little time we have. Then we wake up the next day and barely have to think while getting ready to rush out the door and all the hopes for organizing go out the window. This could all be avoided if we wake up early, being an early riser gives us a much-needed push to get a good start to the day. We can do this by planning before heading to bed the previous day and schedule properly so we can get our tasks accomplished.
